Welcome to Georgia Heartland Humane Society

Founded in 1995, Georgia Heartland Humane Society has maintained the focus of rescuing abandoned and abused cats and dogs. As a foster based organization, we do not have a brick and mortar location, and rely on our volunteers and donations to do what we do. We hope to help end the suffering of these animals through our foster program, spay & neuter, education and adoption.

Meet Polly!

Can you believe this sweet face has been with us for over a year? Polly is a great gal, but somehow she is still searching for her forever home. She loves older children and will make a wonderful family addition. While she isn't a fan of cats, she likes other dogs after a proper introduction.

Some of Polly's favorite things are lying outside in the sun, rolling in the grass, car rides and giving blueberry kisses! Polly is spayed microchipped, house, crate and leash trained. She is also up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives. If you are looking for a special girl to add to your home set up a visit with Polly, if nothing else you will get a lot of cuddles! Polly will do well in a female household and is great as a protector.
