Welcome to Georgia Heartland Humane Society
Founded in 1995, Georgia Heartland Humane Society has maintained the focus of rescuing abandoned and abused cats and dogs. As a foster based organization, we do not have a brick and mortar location, and rely on our volunteers and donations to do what we do. We hope to help end the suffering of these animals through our foster program, spay & neuter, education and adoption.

Giving Tuesday
This Giving Tuesday, Georgia Heartland Humane Society would appreciate your generosity and support in any way you are able: monetary donations, pet item donations, fostering, volunteering, and/or sharing our campaign and message with others.

At GHHS, we rely on the generosity and support of our community. Our fundraising efforts help us continue to operate, and it funds our rescue, adopt, spay & neuter program. These funds go towards helping rescue abandoned, neglected, or abused animals and helping nurture them back to good health with lots of love. Additionally, these funds are used to spay or neuter and microchip our animals, in addition to funding any medical care they may need.
